Torpedo or Torpedo 1936 is a Spanish comic book . It was written by Enrique Sánchez Abulí and originally drawn by Alex Toth , who was replaced by Jordi Bernet after two eight-page episodes . The comics are about Luca Torelli called Torpedo , a contract killer in the context of the Great Depression and the gang wars of the 1930s in New York . 15 albums have been released since 1981.

Framework story

In the framework story, which is not shown chronologically, Luca Torelli emigrates from Italy to New York as a young orphan and comes into contact with criminal gangs. Over time, he established himself as a dreaded contract killer known as the Torpedo. His assistant is Rascal, a somewhat simple-minded crook who was originally supposed to kill Torelli, but who failed and was left alive.
