Torsten Busse (born December 8, 1962 ) is a German rugby player and coach.
Career
He came to BSG Stahl Brandenburg through his brother Helmut Busse , who was almost three years older than him . Both developed to performers at Stahl Brandenburg and the team with them to a top team in the upper league of the GDR. For example, Torsten Busse was appointed to the rugby union national team of the GDR a total of 22 times at the side of his brother in the position of prop . The greatest success with the club was the runner-up in the GDR league in the 1987/88 season behind Stahl Hennigsdorf . After the political change, the Busses played in the club, renamed SG Stahl Brandenburg , for many years in the Regionalliga and from 2000 to 2002 and 2005 to 2007 in the 2nd Bundesliga North / East. For several years, Torsten Busse has been the coach of Stahl Brandenburg and a member of the old gentlemen's team trained by his brother.
