Toshihiro Yahata ( Japanese 矢 畑 智 裕 Yahata Toshihiro ; born May 29, 1980 in Ibaraki Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yahata learned to play soccer on the Kashima Antlers youth team . He signed his first contract with the Kashima Antlers in 1999. The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2000 he moved to the second division club Vegalta Sendai . In 2001 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. For the club he played eight games. In 2004 he moved to the second division Mito HollyHock . He then played for Matsumoto Yamaga FC . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
