Tuscany effect

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tuscany effect describes different effects :

  • An effect created by the wiping technique when painting walls: You work different natural tones of different nuances into one another. These are either wiped into one another when they are wet or partially applied on top of one another when dry.
  • The natural patina that forms on older terracotta vessels.
  • The effect that food does not taste as good at home as it does in the country of origin. Example: You enjoy a wine in a nice holiday mood in Tuscany . Because the wine tasted delicious, you take a bottle home with you. There you are then disappointed with the wine because there is no holiday mood there.
