Touch El Arab were an electro-pop group from Basel from the late 1980s. With their humorous song “Muhammar” they were successful in Switzerland, France and Italy. The members were Philippe Alioth, Christoph Müller, Bea Wiggli, Kathrin Németh and Stefan Hopmann. Christoph Müller is now a member of the Gotan Project .
