Tour Aurore (also called Tour CB17 ) is the name of a skyscraper in the La Défense office district in the Paris suburb of Courbevoie . The office tower was built in 1971 with a height of 110 meters and 29 floors. After the last tenants moved out in 2013, the building stood empty for several years. The original plan was to demolish the building and replace it with a new building. The building permit for the new building called Tour Air² with 202 meters and 46 floors was granted in 2011. In 2017, however, the demolition plans were abandoned and the decision was made instead to extensively renovate and add 16 meters or 5 floors to the Tour Aurore. Work on this began in 2018 and should be completed by 2022. During the renovation, the external appearance should also be changed significantly.

The office tower is the Metro station La Defense and the La Defense station to the public transport in the Paris bound.
