Tour W (previously Tour Winterthur ) is the name of a high-rise building in the Paris suburb of Puteaux in the office district of La Défense . When it was completed in 1973, the 119-meter-high office tower was the fifth tallest in the La Défense business district. The building has 31 above-ground and 9 underground floors and an area of ​​approximately 34,500 square meters. The building was designed by the architects Delb, Chesnau, Verola and Lalande. In 2000 the office tower was completely renovated. The original name Tour Winterthur goes back to its builder, the insurance company Winterthur , which owned the tower until the end of the 1990s.

The office tower is the Metro station La Defense and the La Defense station to the public transport in the Paris bound.
