Tour du Gué

The stump of the former defense tower

The Tour du Gué (translated: "Tower of the Furt" or "Furtturm") was a defensive tower in Meaux , built in 1488 on the banks of the Marne . He strengthened the city's existing fortifications. Today only the tower stump remains.
