touring is the members' newspaper of the Swiss Touring Club .
It appears 10 times a year and has a WEMF - certified circulation of 724'700 (previous year 735'588.) Distributed copies as well as a range of 866'000 readers (WEMF MACH Basic 2018-II) (previous year 859'000.). According to its own statement, it is “the most widely read magazine in Switzerland”. It is printed by Swissprinters in Zofingen . The editor-in-chief is Felix Maurhofer.

On February 1, 2009, Felix Maurhofer became the new editor-in-chief as the successor to Stefan Senn, who switched to TeleBielingue on September 1, 2008 .
In 2015 touring was converted from newspaper to magazine format and from 20 to 12 issues a year. In 2007 the frequency of publication was further reduced to 10 issues per year.
Other language editions
The French-language edition achieved a WEMF-certified circulation of 379,674 copies and a reach of 441,000 readers (WEMF MACH Basic 2018-II). The Italian-language edition has a WEMF-certified circulation of 70,735 circulated copies and a reach of 90,000 readers (WEMF MACH Basic 2018-II). The total circulation of the three issues is 1.175 million copies, the reach 1.397 million readers.
