The term Town Hall (german. Town Hall ) is in English-speaking countries a name for the town hall or a home for town hall meetings in cities. Town Hall Meeting is used for the gathering of citizens ( citizens' meeting ) in the premises of the town hall or city hall , as is common in small towns in the USA.
In business , town halls are known in the form of presentations by the management for all employees of the company . In IT (information technology) companies it is also used for presentations in a kind of company meeting.
Often a town hall meeting is followed by a discussion or a question-and-answer part ( Q&A - questions and answers ).
