The Townline Tunnel is an underwater tunnel in Canadian Welland , Ontario , of the Highway 58A and the Canadian Pacific Railway under the Welland Canal leads.

The 330 meter long tunnel was built in the 1960s and opened to vehicle traffic in 1972 and to rail traffic in 1973. The tunnel was made of reinforced concrete with two cells and a rectangular cross-section using the cut-and-cover method with a prestressed roof plate.

It was built by the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority at the time the City of Welland Bypass Project was being built.
