Carrier performance

The carrier power of a radio transmitter ( english carrier power of a radio transmitter ), within the meaning of transmission power , is - according to Article 1159 of the ITU Radio Regulations (Radio Regulations) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as " average power that a radio transmitter during a Period of high frequency oscillation in the absence of modulation of the antenna feed line ».

This is also a special term in frequency management that is generally used in connection with the approval of a radio station or the allocation of a radio frequency or a frequency channel.
