Lake Tréné (formerly also Trewe ) is a lake in the Mayo-Kebbi Ouest region in southwestern Chad, about 25 km east of the border with Cameroon . It is fed by the Mayo Kébbi , which flows into the larger Léré lake not far from Léré after leaving the smaller Tréné lake .
Like Lake Léré, Lake Tréné is located in the Binder-Léré wildlife reserve . Both lakes are fished and rice is grown in their floodplain.
