Trócaire
Trócaire [ ˈt̪ɾoːkəɾʲə ] ( Irish Compassion, Compassion ) is the Official Overseas Development Agency of the Irish Roman Catholic Church .
The organization was founded in 1973 by the Bishops of Ireland . Its aim is to “help the most vulnerable in the developing world” and raise awareness in Ireland for development work. The headquarters of Trócaire is located in Maynooth in Co Kildare.
