Trace (band)
Trace was a symphonic rock formation from the Netherlands . The band existed from 1973 to 1977.
history
It was one of the projects of keyboardist and composer Rick van der Linden . Trace was created as a result of Rick van der Linden's separation from the classic rock band Ekseption , which u. a. led to a lawsuit over the band name. 1978 Trace was given up because of the renewed participation of the musicians in Ekseption.
Trace was based on the musically demanding styles between classic rock , art rock and so-called progressive rock, with concert formats and dominance of electronic instruments, which had been widespread since the early 1970s .
