Trigeminothalamic tract

The tract trigeminothalamic dorsalis (syn. Tract trigeminothalamic posterior ) is a neural pathway in the brain , by the bridge in the hindbrain to the ventral posteromedial in the midbrain draws. It contains somatosensory fibers from the nucleus principalis of the trigeminal nerve and thus from the oral cavity as well as fibers of the taste tract from the nucleus tractus solitarii and nucleus ovalis for switching to the third neuron.
