Trainini is an Internet magazine about model trains of nominal size Z . The subtitle read My world scale of 1: 220 and practice magazine for Z gauge . She publishes primarily on topics related to model railways in Z gauge, but also on the railroad as a model. The title Trainini stands for the diminutive of Treno , the Italian word for railway, which is also a colloquial term in Italy for model railway.

The quarterly magazine in German, which has been published by Holger Späing since 2005 , is free, non-commercial and freely downloadable from the Internet.
