The Trambulina Tintina was a ski jumping hill of the category K  110 in the Romanian city of Borşa in the Maramureş district , which has since been demolished.

history

The first ski jumping hill in Borșa was built in the times of Austria-Hungary . The first ski jumping hill suitable for competitions was only built after the Second World War and it was the largest hill in Romania. Many national and international competitions were held on this hill, in which mostly only jumpers from the Eastern Bloc countries took part.

In 1983 the hill received the FIS certificate and a year later the Pole Bogdan Zwijacz set the hill record of 118 m. At the end of the 1980s, a medium hill of category K 70 and a small hill of category K 30 were built in Borșa. The two ski jumps were never completed because of the political change.

After the political change, no more competitions were held on the Trambulina Tintina for a long time. It was not until 1999 that the Romanian ski jumping championships were held again on the hill. At this championship the Romanian Florin Spulber was able to set the hill record. A few more competitions were held on the hill until 2003, after which it was torn down. In the middle of the 2000s the idea to build a new hill came up, but this was rejected again.

Competitions

The Romanian championships were held on the Trambulina Tintina. Lorincz Balint won the Romanian championships in Borşa in 1980, 1982 and 1984. In 1999, two individual competitions of the Romanian championship took place on the Trambulină Tintina. The first was Vasile Cosmeanu win and second Florin Spulber. In addition, a team competition took place, which the CS Dinamo Brașov club was able to win. The last championship took place in Borșa in 2000. The individual competition was again won by Vasile Cosmeanu and the team competition by CS Dinamo Brașov.
