Transfer (coaching)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Of transfer is referred to in coaching when the coaching measure visible effects in the (professional) everyday actions of the coached person (coachee) causes. Thus 'transfer' means the transfer of an acquired knowledge gain into a behavior change.

The transfer is already part of the ongoing coaching process. Whether a transfer takes place depends not only on the coachee, but also on whether their environment enables or promotes such a transfer. In professional circles, this is known as the transfer climate. The transfer success is an important aspect of the coaching success.
