Emil Killinger

Johann Georg Emil Karl Killinger (born January 31, 1851 in Triefenstein ; † August 14, 1902 in Neckargemünd ) was a lawyer in the Baden state service since 1880 .

Life

family

Johann Killinger was the son of the rent office actuary Johann Melchior Killinger († May 7, 1877), a Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg rent clerk and acquired Baden citizenship on January 10, 1873. On September 26, 1882, he married Elisabeth, née Helfrich (* February 8, 1861), daughter of Heinrich Helfrich from Mosbach . This marriage had four children: Emil Philipp (born October 11, 1887; † 1904, as a result of a duel), Erna Ottilie (born April 12, 1889, married to civil engineer Ernst Gaber ), Wilhelm († polio, tumor operation, Berlin ) and Erich Walter (* March 21, 1893 - May 18, 1977).

education

After graduating from high school on July 17, 1870 at the Lyzeum Wertheim , he studied law at the University of Würzburg from the winter semester 1870/71 to the summer semester 1872 and then until the summer semester 1875 at the University of Heidelberg . After the repeat examination, he became a trainee in various offices from 1877 and passed the second state examination in June 1880 .

career

From October 6, 1880, Killinger worked as an assistant at the Donaueschingen district office. A few months later, on January 1, 1881, he began his work as a clerk at the Überlingen district office . As a result, he worked as a service administrator in some district offices : on May 22, 1881 at the Säckingen district office , on July 4, 1881 at the Staufen district office , on August 29, 1881 at the Schopfheim district office and on September 27, 1881 at the Ettlingen district office . On October 20, 1881, Killinger became an assistant at the Buchen District Office , where he was appointed bailiff on June 27, 1882 . In this position he served from August 16, 1882 at the Tauberbischofsheim district office and from April 21, 1887 at the Schönau district office . As a senior magistrate, Killinger worked from March 29th at the Bretten District Office and from September 18, 1898 at the Wertheim District Office . On April 11, 1902, he was also appointed a secret councilor.

Johann Killinger died on August 14, 1902 in the Kurhaus for the mentally and mentally ill in Neckargemünd and was buried on August 17, 1902 in Wertheim.
