The district office of Donaueschingen , based in Donaueschingen , a town in what is now the Schwarzwald-Baar district in Baden-Württemberg , was a Baden district office from 1844 to 1936 .

history

In 1849, the district office of Hüfingen was incorporated into the district office of Donaueschingen, which had been newly established only five years earlier, and its administrative area was again extensively expanded in 1924.

In 1863 the state commissioner district of Konstanz was created, which also included the Donaueschingen district office.

In 1924, the district office of Donaueschingen was assigned the places Furtwangen, Gütenbach, Neukirch and Rohrbach from the dissolved Triberg district office . In 1936, other communities came to the district office of Donaueschingen and there were also some communities. In 1939, the Donaueschingen district office was named the Donaueschingen district .
