Transport (spelling: Transport - Die Zeitung für dem Güterverkehr) is a biweekly , IVW- checked specialist newspaper for transport companies and forwarding agents who carry out transports with their own vehicle fleet and / or with subcontractors on behalf of trade , industry or logistics service providers . The professional newspaper, which is independent of the association, is published by Huss-Verlag in Munich . Transport was founded in 1991 by the publisher Wolfgang Huss .
The target group of readers are owners and / or managing directors of small and medium-sized businesses in the commercial goods transport sector in Germany. In addition to pure transport companies, this also includes freight forwarders who offer transport services as well as other additional services such as warehouse management, packaging, packaging, installation service or contract logistics. Events
The specialist newspaper regularly organizes the Transport Forum lecture event and is in charge of the annual special publication Vision Transport . Transport has been awarding the European Transport Award for Sustainability every two years since 2012.
