Trans-Saharan drivers
Trans-Saharan migrant is the collective name for migratory birds that winter south of the Sahara . The Sahara is widely flown over by many species on so-called oasis routes, other species (especially thermal sailors ) choose the east or west route, i.e. either the Bosporus - Sinai - Nile Valley , or Spain - Gibraltar - African west coast.
