The Trashcan Darlings come from Norway's capital Oslo and call themselves the pioneers of glam punk, a mixture of Ramones , KISS , Sex Pistols and New York Dolls .
Band history
The Trashcan Darlings were founded in 1995 by Chris Damien Doll and Strange? Gentle. For a long time they searched for suitable colleagues for their band. In the following years, despite the constant line-up changes, there were always spectacular performances in Oslo. You get a good impression of the stage show that was practiced at that time, with a lot of blood, on the cover of the 1999 debut single "I Just Wanna Die (On A Chemical High)". Today the band traded this “stage hobby” for fireworks, make-up and wild poses. After finding a label in Germany in 1999, they toured continuously through Germany , Austria , France and Switzerland from 2000 onwards . The band's last concert took place on December 13, 2008 at the John Dee Club in Oslo.
