Trautes Heim is a German comedy series by Lars Albaum and Torsten Goffin that was broadcast on RTL television in 2002 and 2004 . The wine merchant Paul Kretschmer shares a flat-sharing community in Cologne with his partner Ben and his ex-boyfriend Ulf, who is called Ulla because of his affected behavior . The gay male household is roused when one day Paul's unknown 18-year-old daughter Greta stands at the door - the result of a long-suppressed, heterosexual liaison from his youth. She is very tired of provincial life with her mother and is hoping for a new start in the big city. Paul, who had so far completely concealed the existence of his biological daughter, is forced to answer questions from his roommates - just like Greta, who decides to move in with her father.
