Tre-Gwehelydd

Tre-Gwehelydd (also called Tregwehelydd , Maen-y-Gored or Maen y Goron ) is an approximately 2.4 m high, widely visible broken menhir ( English Standing Stone - Welsh Maen hir ) not far from the Afon Alaw River, southwest of Llantrisant im West of the island of Anglesey in Wales .

The cuboid stone, which has been broken into three parts and is under protection, has been held in place by two metal bands since 1969. A second stone, of similar dimensions, is nearby.

Nearby is the megalithic complex of Presaddfed to the south .
