The Trelock GmbH is a German company from Münster with production facilities in Münster, Taiwan and China . The company is mainly active in the development and manufacture of bicycle accessories, such as padlocks , lighting systems for bicycles and bicycle computers .
The company's history begins in the middle of the 19th century. Trelock GmbH was originally part of Aug. Winkhaus GmbH & Co. KG . In 2001 the company became independent through a management buyout and was taken over by the Irish security technology company Allegion Plc in 2016 .
