The Trenter See (also Trenthorster See ) is a lake in the municipality of Lehmkuhlen in the Plön district in Schleswig-Holstein and is located west of the village of Trent in Holstein Switzerland, surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape .
The lake has an elongated shape with a length of approx. 800 m and a width of approx. 100 m. It has a size of approx. 10.7 hectares and is very shallow with a maximum depth of 2 m. Originally there was no natural runoff and now drains towards Schwentine .
The lake is used as a fishing lake.
