The Trepsental is the most striking side valley of the Wägital in the Swiss canton of Schwyz .
Most of the Trepsenbach flows from Alp Trepsen in a north-westerly direction before flowing into the Wägitaler Aa at Flüebödeli . The Trepsental is mostly forested, contains only a few houses and is developed for the benefit of agriculture and forestry with a 3rd class road.
