Tresouras is a place and a former municipality in northern Portugal .
Tresouras is part of the Baião County in the Porto District . The community had an area of 4.6 km² and 372 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Tresouras and Loivos da Ribeira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Loivos da Ribeira e Tresouras .
