Tri Nations (Rugby League)
The Rugby League Tri Nations was a rugby league tournament in which the three best national teams competed against each other from 1999 to 2006 : Australia , New Zealand and Great Britain . First, each team played against the other two (since 2004 with a return leg), with two points awarded for a win and one point for a draw. In the final of the two best points, the tournament winner was then determined. The successor to the Tri Nations is the Four Nations introduced in 2009 .
