The Trillingøyane (Norwegian for triplet islands ) are three small islands off the Prince Harald coast of Queen Maud Land . They are located in front of the south side of the Skarvsnes headland in the Trillingbukta , a side bay of the Lützow-Holm-Bucht .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
