Trinity Iceland ( English for Trinity Island is) an island in the group of Willis Islands off the western end of South Georgia . It is located 1.1 km northeast of Main Island .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped and named it between 1926 and 1930. It is named after the three mountain peaks located on it .
