The Trinity and US Realty Buildings are a complex of two 22-story skyscrapers in Manhattan . You are opposite the Equitable Building and Zuccotti Park .
history
The buildings were designed by Francis H. Kimball and erected between 1904 and 1907. The architect and the construction company US Realty & Construction Co. wanted to add Gothic details to the building in order to create harmony with the adjacent Trinity Church . The Trinity Building was built from 1904 to 1906, followed by the US Realty Building. The Trinity differs mainly through its dome, the Realty through its church-like entrance doors on Thames Street.
The two buildings are connected by a steel bridge at the height of the roof, which was added in 1914.
