The Troldesten (also Troldesten Bodilsker German  "Trollstein" ) on Fårebrovej in Døvredal, west of Nexø , on the Danish island of Bornholm is a boulder . The granite stone was originally located on a ravine that leads from Døvredal to the heath. The name Troldesten is common in Denmark. The foundling Trolde Sten Biersted is located in the Jammerbugt municipality.

Legend has it that boulders rotate on the island when they smell freshly baked bread. Such reports are known from more than 10 different places on the island. This is a holdover from a cult in which childless women sacrificed freshly baked bread on the stones to have children.

One or more legends are known of some of the at least 175 boulders on Bornholm. The folklore researcher August F. Schmidt mentions some of them in 1932 in the book “Danmarks Kæmpesten i Folkeoverleveringen”. The boulder is also said to be a stone that a Swedish giant threw at St. Paul's Church.

On the south side of the stone there are bowls that probably date from the Bronze Age (1100–500 BC).

Nearby are Døvresten on the south side of Døvredal across from Tyvedalsklippen and Svenskesten , two more boulders and the building stones in Gryet .
