Troldskoven
The Troldskoven ( German Troll Forest ) on the Danish island of Bornholm is located near the coastal road, between the places Tejn and Gudhjem . About 1.3 km behind Tejn in the Troldeskoven (forest) there are three building stones , a ship setting and the remains of an Iron Age burial ground .
The building stones mark graves. Nordic ship settlements are always as close to the sea as if it were a real fleet. The stone ship examined in 1890 is a ship-shaped stone circle made of 13 broken stones (no boulders ) that surrounds cremations. About twelve graves were uncovered, in which one found bone fragments. In the past, a shield and an iron sword are said to have been found HERE.
