Troll pikken

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Trollpikken (Trollpenis) is an approximately 3 meter long rock formation in the southwest of Norway in Eigersund , which was formed about 10,000 years ago during the last ice age . The shape of the Trollpikken is reminiscent of an erect penis , and it was given the addition of Troll in reference to the Trolltunga, which is also located in Norway . The rock gained national fame after strangers destroyed it at the end of June 2017. A group around Kjetil Bentsen then initiated a fundraising campaign for the restoration, which within a short period of time was able to collect more than the 200,000 Norwegian kroner announced for the repair . With the help of local companies, the rock formation was eventually restored.
