Baldwin of Brandenburg (also Baldwin ) was Bishop of Brandenburg from 1205 to 1216 . He belonged to the Premonstratensian Order .

Life

Before his ordination as Bishop of Brandenburg, Baldwin of Brandenburg was provost of Brandenburg. His election as bishop took place in 1205. On June 5, 1216, Ekkehard Rabil was ordained by Baldwin as Bishop of Merseburg . Baldwin of Brandenburg was last mentioned in a document on November 16, 1216, shortly afterwards he must have died.
