Trott-was

The Trott-war is a street newspaper and is under the motto "work, self-confidence perspective," since 17 November 1994, the Stuttgart metropolitan area and the surrounding areas from the same club published monthly. In addition, the association founded by socially committed journalists and private individuals supports other projects such as Die alternative Stadtführung (since May 2006), the deposit project Spende dein Pfand , the Trott-war theater team , the housing project , an art project with a gallery and the TW -Grave welfare .

The newspaper is financed by the sales proceeds as well as by donations, sponsoring, subscriptions, advertisements and membership fees.

aims

With the street newspaper, the association supports people in emergencies (e.g. homeless or unemployed, drug, family or relationship problems) and offers socially disadvantaged people an opportunity to integrate into the community in addition to an additional income.

public relation

A series of photos with portraits of Trott-war salespeople by the photographer Deniz Saylan as well as short films in cinemas and the Internet also draw attention to the situation of these people. The campaign has the motto "Lords of Fate" and started in early 2013.

The photographer Thomas Jäger also portrayed the salesman who was Trott .
