Trotten ( Luxembourgish Tratten , French Troine ) is a village in the municipality of Wintger , Canton of Clervaux in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg .

Trotten is located in the west of the Wintger community, directly on the Luxembourg-Belgian border. Neighboring towns in the north are Buret (Beirig), which already belongs to Belgium , in the east Crendal and in the south Trottenerstraße. The CR 332 and 333 runs through the village.
General
Trotten is a rural village and is surrounded by fields. Before the municipal merger on January 1, 1977, the village belonged to the municipality of Bögen. The only sight is the catholic. Filial church St. New Year's.
