Sidewalk (suit)

In tailoring, pavement is called a narrow edge strip on the lapel or pockets of a man 's suit . Sidewalks can also be found on coats, collars and cuffs. This border decoration, which is no longer common today in everyday life, can be found on festive wedding suits and was popular around the turn of the last century ( Edwardian style ).
