The Trulla Bluff is a towering and icy cliff , the eastern foothills of Bristol Iceland in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands is.

Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations mapped it in 1930 and named it Glacier Bluff (English for glacier cliff ). In the course of measurements in 1962 and 1964 with the ship HMS Protector , the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee decided to rename the ship in 1974. The new namesake is the Norwegian whaling ship Trulla , which called at Bristol Island in 1911.
