Trumeter
Trumeter is an international manufacturer and dealer of counting, measuring and timing instruments, which among other things has specialized in developing and manufacturing electronic OEM systems for industrial and commercial applications using promising technologies . In 1984 Trumeter launched the world's first miniature LCD meter with a 10-year battery life and in 2008 was involved in the development and production of the innovative “JaguarSense ™” system from the automobile manufacturer Jaguar .
Trumeter was founded in 1937 in the UK and 1938 in the USA, and has a sales network in 48 countries with 70 dealers and, in addition to sales in the UK and the USA, agencies in France, Germany and the Pacific.
In 2004 Trumeter relocated its production to Malaysia in order to further increase the planned growth and profitability of the company. Over 200 people are now employed in Penang.
