Troop leader

A troop leader is a military leader of a large formation (brigade and above). He is able to lead operations of connected forces . He is supported by a staff for advice and support, which also includes posts for officers in the general staff service .

He is not to be confused with a troop leader , the leader of a troop as the smallest military organizational unit with only a handful of soldiers .
