The TuS Bremen-Neustadt was a sports club from the Bremen district of Neustadt . The first soccer team played for three years in the highest Bremen amateur league.

history

The Neustadt Workers' Gymnastics Club was founded in 1893, and in 1909 it was renamed the Neustadt Free Gymnastics Association . In the 1920s, the club was one of the strongest teams in regional workers' sport . In 1933 the association was banned by the National Socialists . Former members of the Free Turnerschaft formed in 1945 together with the FC Star and the Bremer TG the SG Neustadt , the Bremer TG sparked by the 1946. In 1950 the SG Neustadt became the TuS Bremen-Neustadt.

In 1956 the people of Neustadt were promoted to the third class association league, before being promoted to the Bremen upper house for the first time in 1961. After relegation as bottom of the table was missed in 1965, they were again promoted to the national league. Tenth place in the promotion season was followed by relegation from bottom of the table in 1967. In the association league, the team was promptly passed through. On January 1, 1972, TuS Bremen-Neustadt merged with Bremer TG to form Bremen TS Neustadt .
