Tucker McGuire

Anne Tucker McGuire (born 1912 - August 3, 1988 in London , England ) was an American actress .

Life

Tucker McGuire was the daughter of the medic Hunter Holmes McGuire.

She played her first role in 1937 as Jane Moore in the British romance Clothes and the Woman . One of her best-known films was The Last Night of the Titanic from 1958. Since the 1960s, she has increasingly appeared in guest roles in British television series. As an actress, she mainly worked in the United Kingdom , where she also appeared on the theater stage and on various radio stations. She had her last major appearance as Mrs. Bergen in the science fiction film DARYL - The Extraordinary (1985).

Tucker McGuire was married to Chambré Thomas Macaulay Booth. Their daughter, Jane Booth, later also an actress, was born in 1941.
