Tughluq dynasty
The Tughluq Dynasty ( Persian سلطنت تغلق) of the North Indian Sultanate of Delhi was founded in 1320 when Ghazi Tughluq ascended the throne under the title Ghiyas-ud-din Tughluq . The Tughluqs were a Muslim dynasty of Turkish descent. Their rule was based on Turkish, Afghan and other Muslim mercenaries who were recruited from other regions of the Middle East and Central Asia.
