The Tugur Peninsula ( Russian Тугурский полуостров ) is located on the west coast of the Sea of Okhotsk in the Khabarovsk region in the Far East of Russia .

The Tugurhalbinsel located east of Tugurbucht and west of Academy Bay and the Ulbanbucht . The peninsula has a length of about 92 km. It has an (outer) peninsula itself, which is connected to the (inner) peninsula closer to the mainland via an isthmus less than a kilometer wide . The inner peninsula is almost 50 km long, has a width of up to 28 km and reaches a maximum height of 931  m with the Gora Talim . The outer peninsula is 48 km long, a maximum of 18 km wide and has a maximum height of 521  m . The Tugur Peninsula has a total area of ​​1700 km². Cape Lindholm is the northernmost point of the Tugur Peninsula . In front of the Tugur peninsula in the north is the archipelago of the Shantar Islands . The Lindholm Road, which is only 4 km wide at its narrowest point, runs between the islands and the Tugur Peninsula . The village of Tugur is located 20 km west of the Tugur Peninsula at the mouth of the Kutyn River in the Tugur Bay. The Tugur Peninsula is part of the Tuguro-Chumikansky Rajon . The abandoned settlement of Pereschejek is located on the isthmus . The Tugur Peninsula is currently uninhabited.
