The Tumba Meujangget , also called Toemba Meudjanggot , is a lance from Indonesia.
description
The Tumba Meujangget has a short, wide blade. At the end of the blade, just before the spout , it is equipped with a small side blade on each side of the blade. These side blades are used to parry attacks. Line and point decorations are attached to the blade. There is usually a colored plume underneath the spout. The Tumba Meujangget is used as a civil and ceremonial weapon. Without exception, it is only allowed to the Sultan and three of the highest dignitaries (“Panglimas Sagi”).
