Tuncay Özer
Tuncay Özer (born June 28, 1968 in Cayönü , Turkey ) is a Turkish-German poet and literary translator of German and Turkish .
Growing up in Eastern Anatolia until he was eleven , Özer attended secondary schools in Berlin after his parents' emigration in 1979 .
Özer has published his bilingual poetry and literary translations in a number of second generation literary magazines. In 2006, the German-Turk was awarded an invitation to the Berlin Poetry Festival .
